Fastest Building of a House - After revving up their power tools and lining up volunteers, Habitat for Humanity of Shelby County, Ala., succeeded in constructing the fastest-built Habitat for Humanity home in the world on Dec.17 in just 3 hours, 26 minutes and 34 seconds. The previous Habitat for Humanity home-building record of 3 hours, 44 minutes and 59 seconds, was set March 13, 1999, in New Zealand.
